The Isles of Collier Preserve Community Foundation presents Day of Giving grants to Collier County Charities
Naples, FL — June 5, 2024 — Minto Communities USA and representatives of The Isles of Collier Preserve Community Foundation presented a total of $70,000 to 14 Collier County charitable organizations. Check presentations in the amount of $5,000 for each charitable organization took place in Naples on May 23 at The Isles of Collier Preserve Annual Day of Giving 2024.
Minto Communities, the developer of The Isles of Collier Preserve, established the Foundation in 2014. Foundation funds support charitable organizations and initiatives that provide assistance and resources for the homeless, disadvantaged children, those with special needs and others as well as cultural, environmental and educational organizations.
At each home closing, home buyers contribute $250 to the Foundation that is equally matched by Minto. In addition, every resale buyer contributes $250 to maintain a continual funding source that supports community organizations. Applications for funds are submitted to the Foundation with a maximum donation of up to $5,000 considered for each organization.
Day of Giving 2024 recipients included AVOW Hospice, Collier County Audubon Society, Collier County Child Advocacy Council, EAA Chapter 1067 Naples, Inc., Foundation of Collier County Medical Society, Freedom Waters Foundation, Literacy Volunteers of Collier County, Marco Island Center for the Arts, Operation Warm, Inc., Peter’s Presents, Inc., Seacrest Country Day School, Snip Collier, Inc., St. Matthew’s House and YMCA of Collier County.

Residents not only participate in the selection of the Foundation’s recipient charities, many volunteer and serve as board members with area non-profit organizations, providing a network of additional support.”
